Default Newbies watch out for the sugar alcohols

There are a ton a threads throughout the forum regarding sugar alcohols, (found in various low carb and Sugar Free Products - you minus them from total carb count (minus fiber too of course) and get your net carbs). But until your weight loss stalls or you get seriously upset stomach from them you probably will not go looking up anything about them.

So I just thought I'd post this before you are through with induction and go to try some of these products. It doesn't happen to every one but does happen to A LOT. Like for me the only sugar alcohol that makes me really sick is lactitol but the others like malitol and sorbitol only Stall me but don't make me sick.

Anyway I just though I'd save you a little pain (literally) and frustruation by stating this before you learn the hard lesson a lot of us already have.

Good luck
Jenny
