Question Snacking on the wrong foods?

I am finding myself snacking on ham (off the bone, shoulder, champagne) and franksfurts skinless sausages alot. Is that OK? (6th day on Induction) Is it okay to eat a whole avocado a day or just half? (I think the book says half) also, I want some sort of dessert! Soda with splenda is OK right???

I am having such a bad day today I feel like buying a choc muffin'! But I won't.

I would just stick to 1/2 the avacado for a while, then maybe when your first 2 weeks are up, have more. Make a guacamole or mix with cream cheese

The ham has added sugars. Both the ham and the sausage are processed with sugars and lots of salt. Just try to keep your intake of processed foods as low as possible. Maybe have one for one snack (If your not having them for meals all the time) and choose something else.

For the dessert you can have sweetened cream cheese (splenda or stevia) SF jello, whipped cream and so on. It really would be best to get out of the dessert habit though and just save these things as a special treat. The soda would be fine, just make sure to drink a little extra water.

SF Jello actually saved me on induction. I discovered it after the first week and had it not been for that, I`m sure I would have fallen off the diet. I`m also one of the lucky ones who aren`t affected by the Aspartame in it as I still haven`t found any SF Jello with splenda yet. (In northern Ontario).
