Thumbs down CarbWise bars have corn syrup in them!

Oh man, I've been cheating an entire week and had no clue! I usually eat the AdvantEdge or Deluxe bars, one every other day or so, and so far I haven't had any trouble with them. Last week we were out of town in a tiny mountain town. They had two small grocery stores, and I forgot to bring my carb bars. So I went to the store and the only kind of bar they had was CarbWise. No problem, it said 3 net carbs on it. Stupid me didn't even look at the label closely!!

Well I ate the first one and it was delicious!! Of course I went back to get more. They're so good I've been eating them every day. In the past week I've suddenly been really hungry and been having low blood sugar feelings. Well today I was looking more closely at the ingredients, and right there it said corn syrup solids. I could kick myself!! No wonder I feel so horrible! I've been eating sugar for a week!!! I haven't had any sugar for nearly 4 months. I'm soooo mad.

Take care,
Bonnie

I like them, too. You can drop them and see if you notice a difference. ALL bars tend to stall me, however, but I will continue to have my Carbwise bar every now and then. I think they only have 1 g of sugar per bar or something like that.

It's one of the last ingredients... which means there's probably next to none of it in there. What I don't like about their label is that they don't tell you how many grams of sugar alcohol are in the bars...
