Default I must praise Tony Roma's

We went to TRs for dinner last night. We decided to go out for Valentines Day on Sunday instead of Saturday because the coupon was useless on Valentines Day I had decided that I would be a little reckless this day and not worry about carbs. Well I had the carby ribs but they put the extra sauce on the side instead of on the ribs. The coleslaw had very little dressing on it and the beans that I ordered were a small portion ( not eve 1/4 of a cup ). They did not give us any bread as an appetizer. Needless to say, I completed my meal with eaze and didn't need a doggie bag.

Same with my Valentines dinner with DH. We went to a nice steak place called Ruby river, they are famous for their tempura deepfried/baked potatoes. We just asked if they had any steamed veggies instead which they did (one was 1/4 of a corn cob) but the rest was a HUGE piece of broccoli and one of cauliflower. We also asked that they not bring any bread to our table. they were extremely helpful so that we both could relax and enjoy our low carb dinner of steak and ribs and veggies. YUMMM!!!!

I am convinced that just about anywhere you choose to eat there are choices out there. We just need to stay informed of what works for us and then dont be afraid to speak up.

From my experience those restaurants that mainly sell meat ( steak and rib places ) are very accomodating with very little effort or whining.
