Default Hello Everyone!!--Newbie here!!!!!

Hello

Quit smoking 3 months ago and have put on some unwanted weight.
Have not really looked for or found a specific plan so I'm just sorts figutirng out how to proceed here. I know that I eat some sugars and french fries and stuff like that and I get snacking craves at night while working on my pc. My weight has leveled off but I need to reduce . Atkins and Lowcarb seems to be worth a try.

I live in thailand and there are no good health food stores here so that could put some limitations on what paln I should use. Thais are mostly small and skinny people-- they all eat tons of rice--white rice.

Could use some advice on how to start etc.. My instinct here is to just start reducing my carb and sugar intake. I do play competitive sports so need to keep up good energy and stamina levels.
Thanks

Welcome! You might want to check out the links to the right. Click on Which low-carb plan is right for me? There are several different plans-some are more restrictive than others.

Don't be surprised if you feel a little out of it for a week or so until your body adjusts. That is normal-especially since you are so active.
