Recent studies at Harvard show that regular consumption of whole eggs does not pose any risk for cholesterol problems in most people. Egg yolks are rich in vitamin E and lecithin, which are antioxidants and beneficial for heart health.
A small % of people may have a sensitivity to arachidonic acid, which is a fatty acid found in egg yolks and the fat in beef. It's not related to cholesterol .. but for those people, this fatty acid can cause inflammatory reactions which include elevated blood pressure and cholesterol, as well as skin rashes and aching joints.
