Default newbies to the low carb world

for anyone new to the low carb world the best thing to do is stay as true to the induction phase as you can for the 2 or 3 weeks. after that slowly add carbs to fit your needs. most people think if the "cheat" on these diets once and awhile with a few carbs it'll be the end of the world. it won't be, just don't do it that often. but be very careful, if you do cheat the worse thinf to do is eat any sugar thats where the damage will be done. there a great store in westwood, nj, that has alot of smaller name products that are great the the larger chain stores don't carry. they also have a web site, www.leanonmelowcarbcenter.com i think its great, when ever i go back home i always stop there to stock up.
happy low carbing

Just to clarify, the plan you are talking about is Atkins. It is quite different than other LC plans, even though the goal is the same. Many people post here, from South Beach dieters, to Protein Power.
