Post Trip to the Hospital

I want to share something with you, Two weekends ago I was really sick with a 103 degree fever, i got dehydrated dizzy so I went to the hospital, They put me on an IV it had glucose in it. I got so nasiated! They said it was due to the dehydration but when I explained I was low carbing, they switched immediately to saline solution. For when you low carb for a while your body doesn't deal with sugar correctly. I was told if I ever go into the hospital please inform them that you low carb. I put it in my medical information here at work, incase I need to go to the Hospital. I thought it was important to share this with you.

That's bizarre. You'd think they'd have checked your blood sugar before they did that. I guess they assume that someone with an accute infection would be low. *shrug*
