Default which is worse for the diet?

the new bryers carbsmart ace cream or the suger free candies with suger alcohol?

I need some thing sweet and right now its either a baskin robbins suger free hard candy with 15 g of suger alcohol or the carb smart ice cream.

I'd say take your pick! I have the low-carb ice cream in my freezer, have had it all month, and have enjoyed a little bit of it. It's good! But sometimes when I want my chocolate, a sugar-free candy will suit the bill just fine, so I go for that.

Actually it all depends on the individual, some people and can eat both all they want with no problems. Others it seem to cause a stall. Not to mention the sudden visits to the restroom. The only way is to test it out and see.

My opinion and from experience is that any Sugar Alcohol containing product can be disaster for any LC dieter. Reasons: They can reek havoc with your digestive tract (i.e. diareaha, gas, bloat); they can stall some out (known to do so) and easily overeaten (most can't stop at just one).

But lets face it ... any food can be no good in mass quantities...dairy, even meat. So its eat till you are pleasantly full without getting stuffed...eat small meals rather than 3 huge ones...and you will be successful.

I think they are equally ok....Just limit your servings or all hell could break lose in your intestines! Really bad gas.

Get LeCarb for icecream instead ifyou can. It's a little more expencive, but is lower carb and doesn't contain sugar.

If you are still on induciton though, neither. The purpose of induction is to break those sweet cravings.

The best choice would be to make something at home. Look up recipes in the sweet treats section here. Melt some unsweetened bakers chocoalte with splenda and maybe cream. Whip up some cream with flavor and sweetner. Cream cheese can also make wonderful desserts.

Making it at home you can avoid sugar alcohols, hidden sugars, and make a much healthier more satisfying treat.
