Default Help with eating more

Hi, I am new here on this thread. I have been doing atkins for 3 months, love it by the way. I have lost 25 pounds. Firstly I do not know if this is a slow loss. I have not done any regimented exercises as of yet, I have become more active though. Secondly, I went to Fitday since I have been reading about it a lot and I put in my typical days eating and I usually come up with 1100-1200 calories. I know this is low, so I need some ideas to up calories etc. My typical menu includes:

Breakfast: 2 eggs fried in a Tblsp olive oil
2 strips of bacon

lunch: chicken- bone in breast or hamburger with cheese

dinner: meat and one veggie or salad

snacks: some sf candies, sometimes nuts

I was having the same problem. What worked for me was to have 6 small meals a day instead of 3 large ones. I would make sure to have protien at each, and I found that my calories naturaly went up a bit.

Eating smaller meals more often also helps to increase metabolism.

I'd say you are doing well, the only concern would be to add more veggies in as you aren't having to many. Ways you could do that would be to have some greens with your hamburger, mix peppers or other veggie into your egg, or make an omlette with spinich as one of the fillings.

Be careful with the sf candies as they can make people stall or lose slower.
