Question questions on bacon

1. what's the lowest sodium bacon around? i'm currently eating the one with 170mg sodium per 2 slices. is that the lowest? i don't know about you but even that tastes too salty. or is it because i'm more sensitive to sodium now that i'm lc'ing?

2. is the cal/fat count included with everything on the piece of bacon? not after it's been cooked and some of the fat has been dripped off? the label says the count is for "skillet cooked".

3. why is bacon so filling?

I can't answer the first two questions, but I do know why bacon is so filling. It's because of the fat! As we've all discovered on this wonderful WOE, fat tastes good and makes you full. Think of how fatty bacon is — all that fat satiates your appetite.

yes, very filling. I knew the fat made it more filling but then again, macadamia nuts are high in fat and I'd get hungry even if I ate several oz of them.

Auburn, wow that's pretty low. Last night the lowest I saw at the store was 135mg of sodium.

anyone know about #2? i would think the calorie/fat count is for the whole piece of bacon with all the fat, but the "skillet cooked" is throwing me off.
