Arrow How to deep fry and Cheese curd carb count??

Well, I live in Wisconsin so we have an ABUNDANCE of the yummy stuff

I don't know how many carbs are IN them, though I get them from a restaurant I used to work at and they're not sure either *not on the package* Also I don't know if they have a coating or if they just get like that from deep frying them...

I want to buy some of my own and deep fry them, but I don't have and can't afford a deep fryer Is there an alternative way I can "deep fry" them?? I have deep pans I could use, but I don't know what type of oil to use either...eek!!

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated THANKS EVERYBODY AND GOOD LUCK

-lex

Hi, It's really easy to deep fry without a deep fryer--use a frying pan!! You put enough oil in to cover whatever you are frying, let it get really, really hot, and drop in your curds (I'm from Minnesota, VERY familiar with cheese curds). Be careful, it's really easy to get "Spritzed" with oil. I don't know the carb count of curds, but some brands _are_ breaded. You can always call the company and ask them for an answer.
