I see you are not the first to answer this question, see this link . I did exactly what the second person suggested. You could use the search facilty as well.

Have a look at this link which I think will answer your question.

Here is the link to the recipe i use
http://www.lowcarb.ca/karen/recipe013.html

I'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to trying new foods and i haven't a clue what goats cheese is like so i use cream cheese instead.

Well unfortunately i seen these after i made the cauliflower mash which i have to say wasn't that great but the recipe i found said add parmesan (which i duly forgot) and i didnt squeeze all the water out the cauliflower i just mashed it by hand which didnt really mash it at all it just kinda went all stringy.
But i will persevere and try again sometime. when i made it and tasted it it was rather blandish so i added some nutmeg which did lift it a bit so maybe if get the recipe right i may add nutmeg and see what it tastes like.

You may want to try boiling the cauliflower a little longer.
I cook mine until it is really soft, and then squeeze the water out through a seive. I never really have to mash it as it just falls apart. I decided to make this tonight and i also noticed i used a lot more cream cheese than the recipe states.

I don't boil mine at all. I saute the florets in a little butter and olive oil with a touch of garlic and maybe one small shallot chopped very finely. When they start to change colour a little I add maybe 4 tbs water, jam a lid on and steam them in their own juice then when they're really tender take the lid off and eveapotate the water or drain well. Then i mash with a good lump of philadelphia and season well with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Yum!

I try to get as little water near them as possible.

I find that if you boil the cauliflower it has such a watery taste - I can't bear that so that's how come I did the sauté bit. A friend does hers with leeks and shallots so that's how I got started on that one.) Try mashing in some boursin....
