Default new pizza base

I did like the deep dish pizza, but this is so much more like the real thing. For the base (makes 1 small pizza), use the following recipe:

50g ground almonds (almond flour)
1 egg
10-15 g melted butter
1/4 tsp baking powder

Mix it all together, spead thinly over a small round pizza dish (don't worry, it will rise a little), then nuke for 2 mins in the microwave.

Then just add your low-carb tomato sauce, mozzarella and toppings.

It tastes just like the real thing- no kidding - and the base (according to my calculations - someone please correct me if I'm wrong), is about 5-6 carbs... Seriously, try it- it's a regular round at mine!

oooh silly me- forgot the last bit! Just put it in the oven for about 15 mins till the cheese melts all over the toppings. Oh, and EAT... mmmmmm.
