Default Are sleep patterns affected?

Have only been on low carb diet for three days, but am having spikes in energy levels. Seem very tired when I get home from work, but then am waking up with excess energy after I've been asleep for a couple of hours. I woke up several times the last 2 night, which is unusual for me, but feel very energized in the mornings. Do others experience this?

I had issues for about 6 days and then felt great.

Cheated my entire vacation a couple of weeks ago and my insomnia issues came back again for a few days after too.

Sugary carbs are so bad for me.

I have been going through the same thing (not sleeping at night, tired all morning) and am starting to find that I am not eating enough at certain times throughout the day. I am also putting more vegetables and berries into my diet.
