Default This is a stupid question..but what is a tablespoon considered???

I'm not your regular cook, but I had some tarter sauce on my fish and the tarter sauce has 3 carbs for every 2 tblspoons. Is a tablespoon considered a regular kitchen spoon. I know i'm ignorant but i don't have a clue.

I am not sure, but you can get a measuring spoon set at any kitchen stuff store. They have a saet that starts with 1/8 of a teaspoon, all the way up to a table spoon. What ever it is, it is a standart amount..
Whatever it is, it is NOT a soup spoon heaped with sourcream..

LOL....that's funny Arie. (*looking in counter to see how many carb's are in sour cream)

But you are right. You need to get a set of measuring spoons...and make sure you level off the top of the spoon....otherwise you can make 2 tablespoons out of 1.

Good Luck!

3 teaspoons also equal a tablespoon. as others have said you really need a set of measuring spoons.
