Default Grilled Cheese and tomato sand!

I just needed to share w/ you all then best lunch I've had in such a long time. I found the Atkins bread in my local supermarket freezer, 3 carbs per slice. I just made myself a grilled cheese w/ sliced tomato!! It was 9 carbs..but it was damn good!!

Isn't it great! I just had a grilled cheese with tuna sandwich on Atkins Rye. Yum. I try and limit my consumption of low carb bread to just 2-3 times a week, however, since bread is one of my weaknesses. But the fiber in the bread seems to do me good, so I do consume it.

I savor both the preparation and the consumption of the sandwiches. Never before have I appreciated a sandwich so much.

Joan

What store did you find the bread in? And do stores in Boston have the ice-cream? Maybe Star Market?

You can go to atkins.com and they have a store search where you can find who sales Atkins in the area.

As lifelong sandwich connissuer, I await the day when I am able/willing to consume that many carbs in one meal!
