Some people get cravings from anything sweet tasting. Splenda has maltodextrin as a filler and that is a sugar. So it could very well cause cravings in some people.

For me, anything sweet, artificial or not, makes me want more. Anything bready (low carb tortillas) make me want more. I bought them once and when they were gone, I didn't buy any more. Maybe later.
