Default a couple a questions that have been asked before I am sure...

1. is pizza without crust ok to eat???

2. what is ok to drink at the bar???

1. OK but not huge amount. Cheese has small no. of carbs that add up and, of course, the sauce has some sugar.
2. Don't know overall but personal experience: red wine OK. One shot whiskey. Low carb beer tastes good if you're not expecting serious beer.

Your answers are in the book. Set aside two weeks and only eat what is on the Induction list. (you won't find pizza on that list.)

Your body will burn supplied alcohols instead of it's fat reserves if you allow it to. At the least, that will slow your weight loss. (again, you won't find alcohol on the Induction list.)

Once you've gone through your 2-week Induction, there are specific foods listed that will help you reach your goal...but you really need to read the book...the information there not the sort of thing that can be distilled into a few paragraphs from this board, no matter how willing we are to help you reach your goal.
