Default Low carb bars - bad?

Do you think the low carb bars really have only 2 carbs that count
or should we not eat them?

Post faux food

If you're doin the Atkins "Induction" stage, you may want to avoid any LC bars as they can contain sugar substitutes which can lead some people to cravings. Also, I've heard that some of the diabetic chocolate can have a laxitive effect. Stick to real foods for now. There's time for bars later.

Good luck.

Hello...

I just came from the Atkins web site (because I had induction questions) and it stated that on induction you can have up to one premade Atkins shake and an Atkins Advantage bar (or comparable low-carb bar) per day if it doesn't throw your plan off. It also mentioned other Atkins products that could be used for induction, but to watch the carb intake.

I add premade Atkins Chocolate Royale shake to my decaf coffee in the morning...just maybe a couple tablespoons full. It works for me!

Hi Changling,

I've been on the Atkins for 4 weeks and I'm not seeing much results. Just today, I put all my low-carb chocolate bars away, where I can't see them. I got a feeling those were the reason for my unsuccessful induction. I just HOPE that after induction I can have at least one a day and still be able to lose. They are just tooooooo good!

Kiki
