i'm into my 3rd week of doing the atkins programme-no problems so far except that finding aspartame free diet soda is almost impossible here in the u.k.is there anyone out there like me.i'm 44,married with a 15 yr old daughter and am aiming to throw away 100 pounds of unwanted me.ideally i'd like to to it b4 i'm 45 but that is not a major concern.i know alot of people start off as good buddies but drop off,i promise to see this thru to the end and beyond!

If you're looking for some on-line support, I can help you out. I too am from the UK and find it VERY difficult to cope without anything fizzy to drink. In fact, it is worse than not being allowed bread, pasta etc!!!! I think I am addicted to the aspartame in the cola, either that or the caffeine, not sure. Are we allowed to exchange e-mail addresses? I am new to this and not sure of the rules. Let me know on this thread.
