Has any one had the vanilla coke yet? Its like cream soda nice but if you dont like things to sweet it will not be for you, as this is very sweet

I've had the diet one and it's okay but it needs to be really cold for me to enjoy it a lot. Hubby has the 'real' one in the US and is addicted to it!

Can't say I'm tempted to try vanilla coke. I can't remember the last time I had a fizzy drink. I hate coke anyway! Carbs from this source are not a problem for me.

And, yes, I know Atkins advises against caffeine and aspartame but I must allow myself at least one vice. Neither of them bother me in the slightest.

And if they someday do prove that the ingredients of diet coke cause cancer or psychosis or some other horrible fate, at least I'll have acquired that risk doing something I enjoy.

I've just tried the diet vanilla coke...tastes like watered down cream soda. It was horrible warm but once it had been in the fridge for a few hours, it tasted much better.
Personally I prefer caffeine free diet coke. I only allow myself 1 glass a day as a treat.
I'm with Corvidae...I've given up my beloved bread, chocolate, coffee, cigarettes (well still have 2 a week in the pub) and I've cut right back on my wine intake, please god, allow me 1 small treat !!!

I'm off to watch Big Brother with a bowl of strawberries & cream !
