Default How do i knwo if im eating enough?

OK not sure which forum to post this too but i will start here.

How do i know if im eating enough ??

As long as I dont go over carb limits can i keep eating, I dont mean gorging by any means but as I said before I work 12 hour shifts at night, so it is hard to figure out what to bring, because I cant just run into the kitchen to get something!!!!

At home it isnt as much of a problem, but still I dont know if I am eating enough or not.

And is the idea to have 20carbs or just no more than 20, during induction.

I don't think there is a set amount anyone should eat, I just eat when I'm hungry and keep it under 20 carbs. If you are taking a good multivitamin you shouldn't have to worry about in-adequate nutrition. Also drink plenty of water. For work I'd bring a salad or something in a tupperware container, and also some ham/cheese rollups to snack on in case I got hungry again. Just remember that you don't have to eat them just because they are there (that's where I always had trouble with sack lunches).

I never had close to 20 grams during Induction. About the only carbs I ate were veggies & once I subtracted their fiber, my totals were never more than 15.

I wouldn't worry about it as long as you're not hungry and are getting a variety of the legal foods.
