Default Freezing Nectarines

Hello All:

I'd like to stock up on nectarines and freeze them, but obviously I don't want to freeze them with sugar, which seems to be the recommended method.

I found these directions How to Freeze Peaches that say to freeze them whole on a cookie tray and then pop them into bags and put in the freezer.

Has anyone tried this method? I read somewhere else that freezing with the pits in will make the fruit taste bitter.

Appreciate any advise.

Thanks,
Wanda

I think it's better tp peel and slice them into wedges and freeze them in individual layers on parchment paper. Then you can transfer them to ziploc bags. I like this method becuase you may not want a whole piece of fruit.

I've never heard of the other method but I would try a couple, just to see how it works.
