Default Help, been sick - what can I eat

I was very sick a few days ago, and now nothing protein sounds good, in fact almost everything I try eating makes me feel a bit ill still.

My body pretty much has nothing in it.

Any suggestions?

chicken broth, as you feel a little better, you can add a little chicken or broccoli to it. I use chicken broth and cook some broccoli in it. In another pan use some heavy cream and melt some cheese in it. I blend it and have broccoli cheese soup. It is good and easy on the stomach.

I hope this helps and get to feeling better soon.

Thanks Debi! This has been awful. Definately NOT the way I want to lose weight, but I suffered greatly for each pound I lost being sick (total of 5 pounds).

I am going to try the chicken broth today. Hopefully it will feel good.

I am also drinking water. Even that sometimes feels ick, but I know I need it.

sometimes the colder (more ice) the water has in it the easier it is for me to drink if I'm not feeling well. Maybe also some weak tea to help.

You take care and hope you do feel better real soon.

Peppermint helps with stomach, probably just plain mint too, and fruit and almond is pretty mild, I'd try not do lemon (that would be good for a sore throat) or anything that might have a stronger taste to it. Sweeten with either splenda or stevia if you need to, and sip it warm.

If I think of any others I'll let you know.

Thanks for all the suggestions. The tea was great and the broth hit the spot too. Now I feel good again and could eat a house

No worries though, I am not giving up. . .I've got too far to go.

I am going to have to try your cheese broccoli soup now that it sounds good!
