Smile Reintroducing myself...again.

Hi all...

I just started Induction again, yesterday. I think this make 3 or 4 times in the past 18 months. I usually start off fine, but then get bored or frustrated or just plain lazy.

This time, though, I seem to have new incentives. I just got a new teaching assignment for next year (7th grade Earth Science), and I know that it will be a challenge. Perhaps if I don't have to worry about my health so much (because, of course, I will be feeling fantastic), then I'll be more than up for the challenge of teaching teenagers. Also, I have a trip to England coming up in July, and I'd love to have more energy to do all that walking.

I've decided that one thing I need to do to succeed this time is to plan ahead. That means planning my meals, days, etc. Maybe then, I won't get bored, frustrated, or lazy.

So far, I'm doing o.k., although it is still a challenge to get all of my water in. That's something I'll probably always struggle with. As a teacher, I only get to use the bathroom a couple of times a day...so, adding more water to my day could be "dangerous". "Mrs. M., why are you dancing around the room like that??"

I'm looking forward to all of the support that I see here. Feel free to direct a little my way. It will be appreciated.

TTFN!!

Hello Lori, This is a great place for help- and recipes-just keep thinking eggs, meat , salad, cheese, eggs, meat, salad, cheese, eggs, meat, salad, cheese, well you get the idea!
there are also some other LC recipe web sites with good recipes that you can print off-I have started my own cook book that way

with God all things are possible

keep it up

Default Hi Lori!

Welcome back!

Never underestimate the power of the good incentive!!

I substitute teach so I know what you mean about the water. There were many days I'd be lucky to get 1 bathroom trip!

Good luck & hope you visit often...

Hello Lori! Welcome back!

You're absolutely right about the need to stay prepared! Preparation and planning are simply essential if you want to achieve your goals. Add EDUCATION (as iin educating yourself about this WOE) to that mix (something you can relate to) and you've got a winning combo.

Good luck!

Donald
