Default what foods have what?

hi! I used to come on this forum quite a lot, it's been over a year now though.

i'm in the middle if trying to get to the bottom of chornic fatigue that i've had for, oh, about five years!
one strong possibility is a carbohydrate intolerance - i think this because if i eat potatoes (these are the worst), pasta or bread it just knocks me dead and I get reeeeeal sleepy, doesn't matter where i am - my friend often catches me dozing at work at lunchtime when i've had a sandwich!

anyhoo, i'm trying to design a diet that cutsa out complex carbs, or at least the worst ones anyway. but i'm having problems getting to grips with what foods have what!

i know that things like peas, beans and corn are complex carbs, but what other veggies and so on have them? i'm keen to see if cutting them out will improve my energy levels. lord knows i exercise enough, so that shouldn't be a factor here.
oh, and i'm waiting on blood test to make sure it's nothing medical - but like i said, it's been 5 years and in that time, i've had a full blood screen and a thyroid test at separate times, both with no problems.

thanks!

Anything that's starchy is what I'd avoid. That'd be flour, sugar, potatos, corn and maybe beans, yams. If you want a list of low carb foods, you can probably find a great list at www.atkins.com

If you want you might be able to use Fitday or the USDA nutritional database to look up carb values in various foods.
