Default A couple of questions

OK I've got a couple of questions.

1: Is it OK to use worcestershire sauce on food? I eat it all the time with my beef, chicken, and even in my green beans! It adds some good flavor to it. Does anyone know if it slows you down, or if it is totally safe? It has 1G of carbs every tablespoon.

2: I've got some whey protein and sometimes I take it with some water when I start craving chocolate. It has 3 grams of carbs per serving, do you think it will hurt if I continue to use it whenever I have chocolate cravings?

1. If the worcestershire sauce only has 1g per serving and you count these servings in your total carbs I see no harm. I use a low sugar and salt ketchup which has slightly more. The secret is not to use to much of it.

2. You will get different opinions on the whey shake from different people. There are two ways of keeping the chocolate monster at bay. One is to go cold turkey. Sooner or later you'll lose your cravings for chocolate. The other way is to offer him sacrifices. I do the second. I use pure cocoa powder to make a hot drink with water, cream and splenda. I don't think the whey will do any damage - especially if it helps to keep you on track.

Good luck,
Robert
