Red face 24/7 Headaches.....

Hey all!! I was wondering if anyone experiences headaches all the time from this way of eating? It seems like I am always having to take ibuprofen every couple of hours. Do you know what could be the cause or does anyone else experience this?

Erin

Yup I had them big time in my first week, they have calmed down and I get the odd one now and again. Its just because you are having withdrawl sytoms from caffeine and carbs. Just make sure you are drinking plenty of water, and remember it's just a phase it will pass
good luck

Actually, I'm guessing the headaches are from sugar withdrawal, or at least partially. I had them too, but I didn't stop drinking coffee (previous experience tells me that I can drink black coffee and still get good weight loss and no terrible cravings--Caution: Your Mileage May Vary.)

Yes some people do still drink caffeine so that leaves sugar which is a carb, as I had explained in my previous post!!
I had given up caffeine as well as cutting my carbs, although I must admit I may start having diet coke again as I miss it so much or maybe get the caffeine free diet coke!!

Headaches cleared away after a week to 10 days for me!

Best to be careful what you eat does not contain carbs or caffiene or you could prolong the withdrawal.

I met a lady today who told me all about how she had started atkins again the day before

- then she turned around and bought a coke from a vending machine.

Half doing this WOL is BAD KARMA by the stories I have read

It's almost a religion... But it works !
