Question What is average carbs per day to lose?

I'm wondering what people are averaging on carbs per day and are still losing weight after induction. I haven't received my copy of the Atkins book yet but it seems to me years ago when I was on the low carb diet it was less than 60 carbs per day. Any new data?
Thanks, Lil

This is really going to vary according to your metabolic resistance to ketosis. Some people have to stay on induction levels (20 Carbs) to lose any weight while others can have alot more.

I guess I'm not the best example as far as carb count goes. I don't really have a set goal of carbs every day, but I am guessing that I normally have 20-40 a day. Occasionally it will be 6:00 in the evening and my wife will fix something that has a few more carbs than I had planned into my daily intake so it my carb count might go as high as 50.

I've gotten to the point that I feel good and I'm loosing weight (slowly now), but I'm just fine with that. I'm becoming stronger, healthier, and yes a little thinner everyday so way stress it right. Now occasionally I will kind of stall and I will watch my carbs a little more carefully for a couple of days but otherwise it just comes as second nature.

Good luck Napalil

Like Dsights said everyone is different. I have been eating about 50g of carbs a day and losing about 1/2 to 1 pound a day the last few weeks. In all I have lost about 33 pounds since Dec 14. But then there are people at work that are eating less carbs than myself but not losing nearly as much or as fast as I am. It all depends on you. You just have to keep trying different levels and see what works for you. Good luck.
