Default Yipee!

4 days, 4 pounds. I know the first part is fast but this WOE is totally awesome. Grilled chicken, broccoli, cauliflower, small amount of cheese and my all time favorite sugar free jello with whipped cream. I cant find any jello with splenda, it's all made with aspertaim (sp). Is this OK to eat?

Hope everyone's had a good LC day!

You can find that jolly rancher sugar free jello cups are made with splenda... They are usualy in the milk section of a grocery store.. You can find them at walmart, or any grocery store...They are great.. Good luck, you will just love them

Congratulations Mselly

I'm glad you are enjoying your first experience of low carbing. Keep up the good work. I don't think there is a problem with AS in jello. Splenda is only just available in the UK, so we have no alternative and I've not had a problem, with limited amounts. In fact just finishing my sugar free jelly with AS type sweetner.

Smile Thank you

Thanks for the tips Tammy and Anne.
These forums are awesome, all you have to do is ask.
Fitday is very helpful too.

One more question: are there any brands of bacon and sausage that don't have brown sugar or nitrates?

Smile Re: S/FJello

Mselly,

Congrats on the 4lbs!! I haven't yet seen packages of Splenda sweetened jello around where I live. I noticed that you are from Canada - I haven't seen Jolly Rancher jellos, but I have seen Hunt's Splenda sweetened ready to eat jello in Superstore - these are what I have bought for quite a while to give to my son for school lunches and he loves them. I also have them once in a while and quite enjoy them. The only thing is they are a bit more expensive than the packages of powder.

For the sausage and bacon, check out a health food store, or some butchers make their own and you can ask them about additives, etc.

Theresa
