Default Lowcarb is really becoming mainstream

I was reading People's Magazine today (yes I am that bored). I found a bunch of references to Lowcarb.

In the cover article intitled Loosing large "8 regular people shed 1,027 lbs and changed their lives by banning bingeing and taking the Stairmaster one step at a time".

Lisa and TIm Thompson lost 127 lbs and 95 lbs using TOPS (take off pounds sensibly).

Aaron Dubois lost 128 lbs using a low-carb, low-fat supervised diet.

Loretta Begg lost 50 lbs using traditional Hi-carb, low-fat (with 6-8 hours of dancing per week).

Lindsey Williams lost 235 lbs using a low-carb program and group support (he declares he is carb addicted).

Annmarie Santillan lost 127 lbs using weight watchers

Julie Rovetti lost 165 lbs using a modified atkins diet.

Onalee Braley lost 100 lbs with lowfat and potion control

All 8 people seemed to have integrated some sort of excericse program into their lives. It was a very inspirational article, in these days of constant mention of stomach stappling and liposuction.

Also later in the magazine I found 2 more mention of low-carbing.

In an article unrelated to weight-loss, Marissa Matrone, Jenifer Lopez co-start in Main in Manhattan was saying she lost weight with yoga and a no-carb diet.

Then later on in an article on Mariel Hemmingway new book, it was mentionned that her holistic doctor put her on a low-carbohydrate, caffeine-free diet to help her restore her health.
