I thought I'd respond to the sweet craving part of your question:
When I want something sweet I have:
-- an occasional SF jello (occasional because of the aspartame)
-- an oz. or two of heavy cream whipped with a packet of Splenda and a few drops of vanilla
-- mock danish (2 oz. cream cheese, softened, mixed with one egg, one packet of splenda and a drop of vanilla. microwave for 1 1/2 min. or so)
-- Italian soda: a glass of sparkling water over ice with a dollop of unwhipped heavy cream and SF flavored syrup (like DaVinci or Torani brand chocolate, toffee, vanilla, root beer, etc.) to taste.
-- a stick of extra sugar free gum (zero net carbs)
-- frozen blueberries (sometimes drizzled with the tiniest bit of heavy cream)
-- I have an ice shaver, so I freeze diet rite soda and make snow cones
