flax seed

This is my 4th day of Induction, doing real well. IS Flax seed allowed? I ground it and put it in water, it has a filling effect

Carole, flax seed is not only allowed, it is encouraged

Flax is a great source of EFAs and fiber. Just be sure you do not heat it - if you use it to make cereal or porridge the water must not be boiling. Heating the flax past a certain point damages the oil, rendering it toxic to your body.
