Question Sugar Free Gum??

I was wondering if you can have this on Induction. I never noticed that it contained Sugar Alcohol. I only looked at "total carbs" and have stayed away from it because I couldn't afford to give up 2 carbs..I know u can subtract the sugar alcohol so that would leave it w/ "0" carbs, right? What if sugar alcohol causes stalls? Is there enough in the piece of gum to hurt anything? I've really missed my gum....lol

Thanks,
DD

I've been told to count the carbs in gum by others on here. I was also told that Atkins has gum now but I haven't seen it locally. You may have to get it from their catalog.

I haven't seen any Atkin's gum around here either. Do you know if it is "0" carbs?

Thanks,
DD

I'm sorry, I don't. I just learned of it a couple of days ago here on the forum. Maybe atkins.com would have info on it. I miss my gum too.

The Flash Strips don't have any carbs or sugar alcohols. Those are the little thin strips that melt in your mouth. They're quite intense, but they really help ketosis breath.

I have been chewing sugar free gum. I just look for the lowest amount of carbs, and subtract the sugar alcohols. Usually it amounts to 2 grams of carbs, and 2 grams of sugar alcohols, equaling 0 (zero) effective carbs. It hasn't caused me to stall, and I am a big fan of gum.
I'm quite new at this, but haven't had any trouble with sugarless gum.
