Question should I be this tired?

I just got back from costco, had to replace my printer, sure it is heavy, but I feel lightheaded, out of breath, worn out! This not the norm for me, am on day 4, up to now feeling great. been taking vitamins, but just bought a new better and fresher one. ??

I felt tired on Days 4 and 5. It passed after that. Also see if your vitamin has potassium in it. If not, get a potassium supplement - it's supposed to keep the lightheadedness away.

I felt just like that on day 5 ( or was it 4??) and TOM came the next day. I felt totally different than usual so I was, to say the least, unsuspecting!

Thankyou Atiaran, no potassium in the old vitamin, but it is in the new one. I feel better just knowing I am on track. Karen

I felt terrible for most of the first two weeks. It finally passed. Your vitamins may not have enough potassium to do the job. I take a 90mg besides the multivitamin.

I remember falling asleep on the couch! In the middle of the day, and it was sunny outside! I felt a bit guilty about that. Haven't had that problem since induction was done.

I think it was day 4 that I had been out shopping and came home Soooooo tired I could hardly move. I practically passed out climbing up the stairs to my bedroom. I added better vitamins after that - I found a good potassium (800mg) + magnesium at GNC.

As I recall - that was my last day of feeling sluggish. The next day I must have jumped into keto-space. I had energy to burn

Hang in there. I can't guarantee that it will happen tomorrow, but you should be feeling better soon!

For me, I've had good energy since I started Induction (April 1). However, I started TOM today (my first TOM on Atkins) and for the past 2-3 days, I've been extremely exhausted.....I never get this tired on TOM. I even had to stay home from work, I was so exhausted! I'm guessing it might be because my body's used to having more carbs around this time of month?

Well, I'm off to collapse on the couch.

Word of caution: If you have blood pressure problems, check with your doctor before taking extra potassium.
