Default fibre drinks?

i'm having a problem.......... going to the toilet
any way
i brought metamucil a fibre drink to promote regularity.
the main ingredient is hust of natural psyllium seed, it also contains as[artame, citric acid, sunset yellow FCF, maltodextrin, and artificial flavours.
does this have carbs? i know its sugar free.
can i have this on induction i have to keep regular and laxitives are voiolently painful and sometimes don't work,
i'd really aprieciate your answers

I have been taking the following for six months or more and regularity has NEVER been a problem.

Two tablespoons of pysllium husk blended with 8-12 ounces of Diet V8 (various flavors). Once a day every day.

The Diet V8 is a fruit drink flavored with sucralose. It contains 3-5 net carbs depending on how much you have. The pysllium that I use gets me 14g of fiber.

p.s. the aspartame in the Metamucil is supposed to be avoided. Find a good drink that you like if you can't find Diet V8. I have mixed it with lemonade and even Chocolate Soy milk (sweetened with sucralose).

I take fibercon pills everyday, I dont think I can get the drink kind down. I dunno what I would do without it. Well, I know what I wouldnt do without it! lol

Question

[/COLOR]I have some flaxseed meal and I was wondering do you subtract the subtract the additional fiber that you take whether it be a supplement or flaxseed?

I just mix plain psyllium husks with water. Its not the best tasting stuff in the world, but I dont mind it.

No. Fiber supplements only add bulk to one's stool. They may have net zero carbs, but they do not provide fiber that you may deduct from your carbohydrate count for other foods.

I heard from someone at the health store saying husks in the long run will cause consitpation.... when I am on it, I always feel there is a lot of stuff inside me.... so... I am sticking with flaxseed.... tastier, healthier... but the downside is you will consume more carbs than husks....
