I am from England and have just spent £50 on low carb treats and food, but after 1 or 2 days I just keep on a fallin.

Old habits are hard to break. It takes effort and concentration mixed in with low carbing to make it work.

Just remember, it's all a matter of choice. The wrong food just doesn't jump into your mouth and force it's way down. You choose to eat it. You have to choose to eat right. After a while it becomes natural.

One way to make things easier, is to get rid of all the junk food in the house. If that is not possible, then move it all into one cupboard and stay away from that cupboard.

Just keep on trying. One day things will click, and you will be on your way full steam ahead. Good luck.

Default Hi

I've gone through the same thing Peanut. The only answer for me was to get that stuff out of the house...and that was hard, too, because it's very difficult for me to throw food away!

Once you get going good, it will get easier. But, you have to be ever vigilant and don't over tempt yourself if you're still not sure of your will-power.

I don't allow myself to eat out yet. Down the road, after I've been losing steadily, this won't be a problem because I'll have my historical weight loss incentive to keep on keepin' on.

Peanut...you're so close to getting below the 200 milestone...it will feel SO good when you do...stay the course!!

Regroup and get focused...look at all the things you CAN eat...geez...salami and cream cheese for snack, sliced lunch meat, shredded cheese, bacon bits on your salads, real sour cream, real butter, olive oil on your veggies...steak, shrimp, chicken, pork chops...!!

The other stuff you think you're missing will not be a temptation for you in a very short time. Just get back on the wagon and check in with this forum every day. It's an inspiration and will keep you on track.

I didn't notice if you had started a journal, but that's a great way to make sure that you check yourself daily and you can easily chart your progress.

Make some good food choices tomorrow and you'll be fine...
