Default green tea benefits??

I try to consume 3xcups green tea per day(not easy, is 'acquired taste'!)

Lots of articles support weight loss help, & metabolism boost, has anyone singled out green tea as shifting them thru a 'stall' or helping with those inch losses/lbs loss?

I know it is full of antioxs, BUT is it in the really helping people lose weight in this forum??

Not sure if it helps me lose, but it sure does help on those days when I'm retaining water or feel bloated. Really helps get rid of excess water.

Yes, green tea does have some caffeine. Caffeine seems to be one of those things some people can tolerate and lose well, others can't. Seems to me the majority are okay with it, judging by the various posts.

I've had one espresso with cream almost every day on the plan with no problems.

Edited to add: there was an article on MSN yesterday, and posted here, that talked about the new research showing coffee is healthier than not.

You can buy flavoured, decaff green teas. I bought a mandarine & passionfruit one and it tastes great! I drink a cup every night to help me relax. Though I like my tea and coffee black, I'm sure a packet of splenda would give it a nice sweet accent.

I read somewhere that you had to have 7-10 cups of green tea each day to get the full benefits of it. I take the capsule form. It's a little expensive but not nearly as bad as the price for coQ10!
