Default help for wedding

I know this is kind of mad question but maybe you can advise.

I am getting married in 8 weeks and I have bought the dress. It is perfect size. However I would really like to improve the look of it a bit by trying to reduce the roll of fat around my middle.

I have the classic insulin reistance shape, slimish hips and legs and 2 rolls of weight in my middle.

I know that you can't spot reduce and I really do understand that and I know the men reading this will think ' women are so blooming vain'!!!!

...But does anyone have any ideas for how I could reduce this weight around my middle a but more?

At the moment I go to the gym 3 times a week and do 50 mins CV and then do tummy crunches, oblique crunches , leg raises atc for about half an hour.
I usually take a brisk walk on the other 4 days a week.

I know that I need to burn the fat so should I be doing serious CV work each day?

I'd really appreciate your advise and I hope you don't think I am silly - it's just this wedding thing!!!

thanks
Clodagh
