This is my second time around on Atkins and I really hope that I can make this lifestyle stick this time...so I'm doing everything I can to promote that- buying every low carb cookbook on the market, ordering low carb goods on-line, starting diet and exercise journals and joining groups and forums for support.
I'm 27, 5'2" and about 175 lbs at the moment. I was 200 lbs the first time around and actually didnt loose much weight but I cut my cholesterol and blood pressure went back to normal. I've lost some weight over the last year just through exercise and beginning to train for a half marathon this summer but I need a boost and low carb just makes me feel better and makes more sense to me than low cal. If you think about it, this is how people at before we started buying food made in factories- fresh, whole foods.
So, that's where I'm at... my first goal is to complete this half-marathon and I'd like to be thin enough by then that my thighs wont chaffe!!
