Angry Ranch Dressing where???????

I've searched the shelves for a low carb ranch dressing but find them to be very expensive. Also have searched the forums for a homemade recipe. If anyone has info where to find or a recipe of their own they'd like to share. Please respond.

Default Ranch dressing

Anything that does NOT say low calorie, low fat should be low Carb. Hidden Valley is really good. You can buy the ranch packets to make it yourself and follow the directions. Maybe instead of buttermilk use whipping cream? Just a thought-

Good luck in your quest

Nan

Talking Yummy Ranch Dressing recipe

Hi hope that you'll like this one!

Ingredients:

1 clove garlic, peeled
2 to 3 pinches of kosher salt or sea salt
3/4 cup buttermilk
2 to 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon minced fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon snipped fresh chives
1/2 cup of sour cream
black pepper to taste

Mash together the garlic cloves and salt until a paste is formed. Remove to a small bowl or a jar with a tight fitting lid. Add and whisk
together buttermilk, lime juice, cilantro and chives until well blended.
Stir in sour cream. Taste and adjust the seasonings with salt
and pepper. Use immediately or cover and refrigerate

I just always buy the regular old ranch dressings. They are not zero carb; however, they are pretty low.
I love all the new flavors recently..onion ranch, garlic ranch,etc...

I also just love the zesty Italian and find it to be equal with ranch in carbs.

Default fantastic dressing

Hey why don't you give TZ Marzetti Buttermilk ranch a try.
It does have 2g carb per two tablespoon but it is well worth it!

I just found some Kraft dressings - 3-Cheese Ranch and Blue Cheese with bacon - and only 1 gram per serving. Almost good enough to eat without the salad.....
