Talking thanks

Thanks, Natrushka, I posted in Atkins hoping more people would see it. I hope it's a good interview, not one of the typical free for alls they usually have on crossfire.

I'm at work so I set the vcr to watch tonight.

See ya later, Nancy

That seemed like a pretty useless debate.

They mis-represented Atkins by showing a Thanksgiving "feast" of a pile of turkey, bacon and cheese. Ornish again insisted on steak and bacon as if that's all people on Atkins eat.

Again, just a little tease aimed at making a lot of noise, but with very little content.

Thumbs up

I missed the show, but read the transcript. It seems that Trager won that debate, stating the Atkins position very well.

Personally, I was feeling pretty good, and much enjoyed the salmon, capon and duckling I cooked. But yesterday and today I continued with the wine and pumpkin pie, today added a few crackers. So by now, I show signs of diabetes and low energy. Time to go fix myself some leftover duck, and stop eating those carbs!

The only proof I need is how it makes me feel.

Happy Holidays!

The transcript show only a portion of the show. They let both sides state their positions. A plate heaped high with turkey, cheese, and bacon was showned and they asked if you could loose weight eating that. Then they brougth up that girl who died presumably from low carbing. Trager was allowed a few seconds to explain. After that it degenerated into bickering. Ornish was spewing his usual diatribe, and Trager got cut off due to lack of time.

All in all, a useless debate with lots of misinformation.
