Hi-new to this forum and my wife and I can't find a 100% answer to my question. We have a Magic Chef CBM-10 (cheapie) bread machine--WITHOUT a manual (and the manuals are impossible to obtain even though the machine is only a few years old). We've had a few loaves of Atkins bread (from the packaged mix) come out very nicely but the last few (at the same setting, basic) have been really crappy. After hours on the net, we found this forum...now, can anyone tell us if they've been down this road and found an answer; oddball setting? does the heating element in a cheapo machine go bad slowly rather than all at once?bigger and better brand machine? something else? Thanks for any and all replies!
