Default 10 lb woosh!

Ok, not really, but it was fun to post that. Last night my tantia scale got soaked. I replaced the batteries and let it dry over night. It showed me at 10lbs lighter this morning

A little later I was only 3 pounds down, and now I'm even closer. I'll give it another day to see if it evens out and behaves itself. I can't afford another scale for at least a month if this one decides to totally putter out. That would be extreamly bad for an obsessive weigher like me

Sonja!
I too am a newbie. Lost 10pds the first 8 days. Now I am stabilized at 160, but have lost inches. Can see the difference in my clothes. Each body has a different metabolism so be patient with yourself. Stay on the induction level if you have to see inches or weight come off. What do you eat in a day? How much water do you drink? exercise at all?
Keep up the good work........this does work. Mysty

Sonja, this is a message boared not a chat room. People aren't always on is why your question wasn't answered right away.

The first thing you should do is decide on a plan as each plan has different eating requirments. Click the link at the side "Which Low-carb Plan is Right for Me?" Different plans work for different people. You may need to read through a few books to decide which one is something that is workable for you. Once you decide on a plan, buy the book. Web sites and checking out books form the library can help yu decide on a plan, but once you pick one you need to have the book to refer back to frequently.

Then just choose a day to start, and get to it Many say to start on a saturday not a monday because Monday's are hard enough with work and so on to start a whole new way of eating. Once you choose a plan, find the subforum for that plan here on the boards for questions specific to that plan.
