Starting to train - question :)
Since I've lost 14 or so pounds so far on Atkins, I've decided that it's time for me to get back into running. I've begun training for a 5K in October, which means I'll be walking for the next two weeks until I can work my way into jogging again.
My problem is this - since I've begun walking (3 miles in 45 minutes, 3x week), I've been feeling lethargic and kinda achy - the same way I felt on induction! I've also had a quick 2-lb weight drop which I really didn't expect. Does this mean I should increase my carb intake (maybe some more vegetables)? I want to feel strong when I exercise, but I also don't want to halt my continued weight loss.
Has anyone else had to increase carbs when they began exercising?
Thanks!
