I'm wondering what happens if Candida is left untreated while LCing? Does it get better eventually by starving it out or does it just get worse? Been doing Atkins for 3 months, trying to lose 20lbs and have lost nothing. I have been cheat free, do fitday every day so I know I'm doing things right, but I am sure I have this Yeast problem too, mainly itching in private places. After a couple of weeks on the diet I became bloated, couldn't figure out what was going on but after reading about yeast problems I think that is my problem. I started taking Acidphilus yesterday and cut out all foods that affect yeast, pretty soon they'll be nothing left to eat but I'm willing to try it. Anyone know how long until symptons start clearing up, how long until I drop a pound or even a half a pound? Get out the crystal balls. Anyway, my frustration level is through the roof to say the least, I need some encouragement. BTW, my husband has lost 15lbs. during the same time so I think I'm doing something right seeing how I do all the menu planning in the house. Thanks
