My friend lost 20 kg and has maintained it for the last 4 months, even while traveling around the world.
I look at it as an extension of the WOL. The recipes are all easily modified if they are not exactly LC and once I figure out what my limits are, I will use some of these recipes. Personally, I try a recipe once and then it seems to stick in the cookbook of my mind. Then I modify it when it suits.
Have you read the book? It is pretty good in my opinion.
