Default A little about me

HI,
I had gastric bypass about 3 years ago and lost 104 lbs in the first year. The next 25 lbs have been real hard with some setbacks I've had to deal with. I started Atkins right at Christmas and actually I sailed right through it, It was easier to be on atkins in the holidays than any other diet because I could always nibble on protein. I was on WW about a year ago and lost some but it still fed into my bad eating habits. I did atkins because I had gained a horrible amount of weight in a short period of time due to some nasty med I had to take. I noticed that my eating when I was back in control was very similar to atkins. I try to eat 125 to 150 mgs of protein everyday and Atkins gave it to me where WW didnt have enough points a day for me to have that much. I need to consume about 2x the protein of normal because of the surgery. I also get sick from sugar and bread and pastas. So Atkins looked pretty good. I did really well for the first month till I got bored. I started adding what I thougt was lo carb bread and some other stuff only to find out now it wasnt lo carb at all anyway. So Tomorrow I am back on the wagon. I am glad to find a place to read up regular on others on the same program. I dont know anyone on lo carb right now and know I will need the support.
Beth
