Talking A MonuMENTAL Achievement

I had to share this with you guys. Thank you for your support when I made the decision to change my wol. I was doubtful regarding my success, I have yoyo'd for years and have done this "diet" many times before - always cheating. I decided once and for all - after reading many of your posts that this had to be a way of life. I don't want to be diabetic at 40, or on dialysis by 60!
Just wanted to share in my joy - I stepped on the scale this morning and to my surprise I have lost 12 pounds - a tremendous accomplishment for me. (My daughter works at a bakery and brings things home all the time - so believe me this was NO easy task) That loss is enough to keep me in ceasar salads all year! Just wanted to share my joy and offer encouragement to all as you have offered to me. Thanks - Kim

Kim,
Woo hoo! That's great! Any possibility of having your daughter stop bringing home her bakery give aways? I know that would drive me nuts! Keep going! We're happy for you. Victoria

Great job! It feels really good doesn't it? This "diet" actually works! It is amazing that we can loose weight and eat all the "fatty" things that we do.

It makes you wonder why all the low-fat hub-bub is still going on.

You are on your way to a happier and healthier you. Congratulations!
